This portion of the Arcia Maps category is for displaying maps of the various regions of the planet Earth-2. As mentioned before, these maps will be purely representative but should serve as some kind of aid to help players write their stories. I will be attempting to finish this portion of the forum soon, but drafting maps, especially using paint, is a little difficult and quite time-consuming. Thus it may be a while before I can have maps for every region (which is my final plan). Since these land maps are representative, they will have special markings on them to "represent" certain areas of the map. A short summary of the markings will be present below each map in the notes section. Also, if I re-draft a map to make a second better draft, the previous map will be removed to conserve space. Hope these help!
Earth-2 Overview A.D. 2075:
Notes: Take notice of the "200 Miles Ruler", this will help you better gauge distances when writing your character's story. I will update the "Points of Conflict Dots" as the story changes. This map is highly representative so don't criticize it for being slightly inaccurate.
Mechopolis First Draft A.D. 2075:
Notes: Craters on the map are denoted by the obvious areas of destruction (dotted white lines inside a speckled black surround). These craters are impassible. There are areas of radiation in Mechopolis. Areas of radiation are denoted by the green diagonal lines. Important areas of the map are located "underneath" the words that denote them (i.e. the APM Mechopolis HQ is located directly at where the words "APM Mechopolis HQ" are). Also important to note is the fact that the water in Mechopolis is irradiated, and is dangerous to pass via boat. Only the bridges or aircraft can be used to pass over the river.
Some other interesting facts about Mechopolis are: the right side (or east side) of Mechopolis has be so bombarded with interplanetary artillery that it is literally impassible, the park is another base of operations for the APM, the buildings near the water are actually the remnants of Mechopolis' shipping industry, and crater Alpha and crater Beta are outposts for APM (not actually in the craters just on the sides.
The Shores First Draft A.D 2075
Key Locations:
1. Cross Island: APM's main aircraft base. Many dreadnoughts are launched from here. Much blood has been shed over control of this island
2. APM Launch Point Beta: Secondary Launch point for APM ships and landing craft.
3. APM Defensive Line (Artillery): This line of artillery has literally trapped the occupants of AU Forward Operational Base Beta (7) inside a ring of artillery shelling. Also the primary defensive line for the APM "Shores" HQ (4)
4. APM "Shores" HQ: Headquarters and command center for APM's attacks on the "Shores" region of Earth-2.
5. APM Launch point Alpha: Primary launch point for APM ships and landing craft to attack the AU defensive line. Extremely high garrison count and very well defended
6. AU "Shores" HQ: Headquarters and command center for AU's defensive efforts against the APM's attacks on the "Shores" region of Earth-2.
7. AU Forward Operational Base Beta: Occupants of F.O.B. Beta live in constant fear of their base being hammered with artillery from the APM Defensive Line of Artillery. The shelling is so constant that the area encircling the base is a no-man's land as simply setting foot in this area could mean death by an artillery shell. The APM's artillery is not exactly on the base yet, but it is getting close.
8. AU Defensive Positions: These positions guard the entrance to AU's main naval bay in the "Shores" region. The key bridge bringing the only land access to the Current AU Launch Point, Launch point Alpha.
9. Broken Bay Bridge: the fastest and only by-land access that the AU has to Launch Point Alpha (11)
10. APM Shelling Zone: Though it is possible to pass through this area and live, it is highly likely that one will be hit with artillery. The APM Defensive Artillery line is shelling this area 24/7, trapping the occupants of AU F.O.B. Beta (7) from any outside supplies and help.
11. Current AU Launch Point Alpha: This is the primary launch point for most AU landing craft and aircraft headed to assault the APM, usually at Cross Island (1).
12. AU Defensive Line: This is the first line of defense and also the most heavily attacked location for the AU. APM are almost constantly landing troops. AU troops here have the advantage, but turret guns often overheat from too much use and the barrels melt causing the APM to almost reach the line sometimes. In addition, troops must also beware of the occasional naval artillery barrage. The carnage here is only matched by the APM Shelling Zone (10).
The Dunes First Draft A.D. 2075

1. The AU Dunes HQ: The primary launching and supply point for the AU troops deployed in the Dunes.
2. The APM Dunes HQ: The primary and only launching and supply-receiving point for the APM presence in the Dunes.
3. The Oasis: Simply a landmark for the navigation of the dunes. It is also home to a small AU outpost which provides recon for the main AU force in this region.
4. AU Supply Station Alpha: Recently established to help create an easier and well-supplied pincer move on the the hotly contested "Refinery" in the Dunes.
5. The Refinery: The most important point in the Dunes. It is fought over heavily by the AU and APM. This is because both sides control some of the oil found in the Dunes, but that oil is useless without the control of this refinery.
New Chicago First Draft A.D. 2075
1. AU Central Command Tower: This tower, similar to an extremely tall skyscraper--yet, having a larger diameter, is the "brain" of the Arcia United Military Force. Despite it's height, it is anchored by massive steel cables miles long and meters thick. The tower, being located in the center of New Chicago, is extremely well defended near it's base with garrisons of infantry and vast warehouses of equipment and machinery. The space between the "Inner Defensive Ring" and the "AU Central Command Tower" is one of the largest military bases operated by the AU.
2. Inner Defensive Ring: The title tells all. This is a last major line of defense against any land or air assault on the "AU Central Command Tower". This ring consists of smaller towers housing anti-air countermeasures, 75mm artillery cannons, machine gun nests, and barricades around the base. In addition, the base of this ring of towers includes sand bag barricades for stationary tank placement. The area between this ring and the "Outer Defenses: Tower Ring" consists of dense urban living and economic centers for the less-military citizens of New Chicago.
3. Outer Defenses "Tower Ring": This is perhaps the crowning mark of New Chicago, next to the central command tower. This ring of towers is one of the greatest defensive structures in the Arcian System. Each tower is connected to the city of New Chicago and other towers via dense metal bridges capable of carrying several tanks at a time. An individual tower houses flak-cannon anti-air countermeasures, surface-to-air missile emplacements, sniping blinds, 105mm artillery guns, machine gun nests, and air and ground access points in order to dispatch ground and air forces (such as tanks, infantry, and helicopters) for successful counter-attacks. Each tower is roughly the size of a 30-story building, is stocked with an excess of all forms of ammunition and infantry weaponry, and is capable of providing defensive fire in a 360 degree arc for all forms of attack. In addition, each tower is equipped with computerized, laser-guided anti-bombardment countermeasures to resist artillery strikes and defeat inter-planetary artillery attacks. If taken over by an enemy, a tower can be placed completely offline by a single flip of a switch. The location of those switches can not be revealed at this time.

Outer Anti-Air and Static Emplacements: The gray squares on the map above simply represent the fact that across the wide plain surrounding the AU city of New Chicago there are Anti-Air and anti-ground emplacements. Surface-to-air missile sites, anti-tank teams, and assorted infantry man these posts to prevent small attacks from causing the full arming of the Outer defensive tower ring (which is really only meant for major attacks).
Northern Territories First Draft A.D. 2076
Note: All landmarks, other than the AU HQ, are in grey because they were previously APM bases, but have since been conquered.
1. AU Northern Territories Headquarters: When last mentioned, the Northern Territories where being lost by the AU. However, this base was left behind. The dawn of the year 2076, along with repeated victories across Earth-2 by the AU, brought AU reinforcements massing at this base. This base served as the main launch point for the AU campaign in the Northern Territories.
2. APM Valley base: The site of Lucius' first battle in Arcia; this base is a major landing and refueling point for APM Dreadnoughts. When assaulted by the AU, this was not known which led to the AU's initial defeat at this base. However, a young general, General Myers, was able to make this base as the first victory in his Northern Territories campaign after receiving reinforcements when the tide of war changed.
3. APM Lake Side Depot: This lightly-defended depot resides on the side of the Great Northern Sea, and it is a powerful access point to the "APM Landing Point Alpha". It was taken by a brilliant surprise attack by General Myers, who managed to procure fuel and weaponry for the assault on Landing Point Alpha.
4. APM Landing Point Alpha: Because of the defensive perimeter around the APM Headquarters on the middle island of the Great Northern Sea and because of the dense forest preventing flanking of those defenses, this base had to be taken in order to mount a serious attack on the APM Headquarters. The red line indicates the primary defenses of this base, which General Myers flanked by crossing the Great Northern Sea at night. His surprise attack on the APM "Lake Side Depot" was so swift and complete, "Landing Point Alpha" was not forewarned of their flank being exposed.
5. APM Northern Territories Headquarters: This headquarters is the center of command for the APM in the Northern Territories. This base consisted of anti-air counter measures as well as machine nests watching the shoreline of the Great Northern Sea. However, General Myers (what a genius!) employed AU tactical squads to go behind enemy lines and, at the moment of the main attack, shut down the anti-air defenses! The resulting attack was a huge success as the shoreline defenses were quickly eradicated by air support.
6. APM "Evacuation Point Omega": With the sudden destruction of their defenses, the APM troops stationed in the Northern Territories attempted to flee in inter-planetary transport ships that were to launch from this site, but General Myers had other plans. Let's just say those ships still stand on their launch pads today.
