The Earth Alliance was struggling to survive when they landed on Galthos and established their HQ just south of what is now New Providence. It is suspected, with good reason, that EA's condition has not changed. Still their headquarters manages to provide them with reasonable protection, but nothing that could pose a threat to other, larger factions.
