This thread contains the Arcia Solar Maps. These maps are representations of the Arcian solar system and include the names, positions, and orbits of the planets. These maps will be updated occasionally due to changes in storyline (i.e. a new planet is discovered or one is destroyed or something to that effect). Below, the maps are listed from the first draft (first one) to the final draft.
The Arcian Solar System: First Solar Draft (A.D. 2075):
THESE NOTES NO LONGER ACCURATELY REFLECT THE ARCIAN SYSTEM; SEE DRAFT TWO BELOW
Notes: Notice how the most temperate climates are Apothos and Earth-2 in which their planets' orbits are quite close together. You can also see that the coldest planet, Raynor, is the second furthest out and that the warmest planet, Galthos, is closest in. Also note sizes; while difficult to tell, the planets do get larger the farther away from the sun, Lumina, one gets. Finally, see that Xorium is quite similar to earth. It's extremely efficient core warrants a great habitat for life.

The Arcia Solar System: Second Solar Draft (A.D. 2076):
1. Lumina: This is the Arcian System's equivalent to the Sun in the Earth's solar system. It warms the surrounding planets just as any other star.
2. Galthos: How could this rock have temperatures low enough to sustain life? Well, ask any resident of the miserable Galthos, and you will quickly find that most of the opinion is that it is really hot! Yet, Galthos' atmosphere consists of very little carbon dioxide, water vapor, and methane allowing any heat sent into it's atmosphere to be released quickly. In addition, the surface of Galthos is considered highly reflective, so most of the solar radiation that heats normal planets is reflected back into space. This combination of factors on the smallest planet in Arcia results in an environment that is "barely" liveable for the remnants of the earth alliance...and anyone else who can stand the heat.
3. Apothos: Home of the Apothos Private Military, this planet is covered in dense cities due to it's being composed of iron and other ores with little soil mixed in. The climate is moderately warm; but the close proximity of this planet to Earth-2's orbit really makes this planet's overall temperature about the same as Earth-2's. The planet's dense cities have turned it into a black and grey sphere of humanity. Anyone wishing to enjoy the city life will find that desire fulfilled to the extreme on this (the second largest) planet in Arcia.
4. Earth-2: How much can possibly be said about this planet's overall climate and landscape that you don't already know? As the home planet of Arcia United, this sphere of green is almost exactly like the original earth in every way, save for there being more landmass than water. The temperate climate is comfortable to most; this is one of the few planets in Arcia on which one can witness the changing of seasons. This is the third largest planet in the Arcian System.
5. Raynor: Covered mostly in water, this planet is in the zone of the Arcian solar system where things start to get really cold. As a matter of fact, the south pole of the planet is known to freeze even machinery built to handle the arctic, and most of the north pole of Raynor features the same issue. However, this planet is covered in freshwater, a rare resource back on the original earth. There is actually very little salt water beneath this blue sphere's clouded skies. It is home to the technological marvel, Oceanis, and a small spine of islands, the Crimson Isles.
6. Xorium: One word: cold. It is only barely inhabitable around it's equator. This snowball's discovery in 2075 is what really kicked off the Arcian war. Why? Because buried underneath all that ice was something marvelous: a high quality, new element, Xorium, for which the planet received it's name. This element, even in small amounts, can power huge space ships, thus opening the way for giant leaps in space travel and exploration. Right now, the planet is fairly uncontested as levels of Xorium are satisfactory for inter-planetary travel in Arcia and to and from the original earth. But, those levels will not last for long.
